These L. bulgaricus probiotic chewable wafers are great for alleviating heartburn - pop these, rather than Tums! They also produce the lactase enzyme, so good for people who are lactose-intolerant and they help with both carbohydrate and protein digestion.

This may also be a good way to get probiotics into kids – but they are not very sweet. So I actually have better luck mixing the powdered probiotics into my kids' yogurt or raw milk.
