There is a growing body of research showing that some people cannot utilize the Omega-3s from vegetable sources (like flax oil) as well as they can from animal sources.

Personally, I consume both. I take Udo's Oil for my vegetable source Omega-3s and fish oil for my animal source Omega-3s.

Just remember to take both with food for maximum utilization.
